The Old Central Fire Station in Perth's historic Murray Street East precinct is home to the DFES Heritage Collection. The Collection helps to tell the cultural and technological history of the fire and rescue services in our State. Our Behind-the-Scenes Team assist in the auditing of the Collection and maintenance of entries in the database.

The Darling Range Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade Communications work at the control centre of a fire or search manning the radios, tracking firies, mapping fire shapes, and providing specialised support to the Incident Management Team (IMT).
As an SES volunteer you will be trained to assist in the Ops and Comm's centre to cope with natural disasters including storm, floods and land searches.
