The RKSES operates under DFES and is made up of four primary sections, Rescue, Logistics, Communications and Planning with multiple support roles to keep these sections responding to emergencies. With everyone working in a team environment you may go from searching next to the police in bushland, filling sandbags in a Pilbara Deployment or in the office sorting through hundreds of Requests for Assistance from that one in a decade storm with the Incident Management Team.
