Join the volunteer rescue Boat Crew and be involved in the running and operation of our rescue craft! You will require a reasonable level of fitness and not be prone to seasickness.
All training will be provided by MRG and promotion through to rescue skipper is possible. Training includes
- radio operation
- boat handling
- navigation
- rope handling
- towage, search and rescue and a host of other maritime skills.
Once a level of competence is achieved, you will become eligible to assist in the operation of the rescue craft.
