Support Members are essential to the smooth and effective operation of the brigade. Their behind-the-scenes work improves readiness, efficiency, and member wellbeing, making them a vital part of the brigade’s success.
This flexible role can be tailored to your skills, interests, and availability. Whether you can contribute occasionally or on a more regular basis, your support helps ensure the brigade can continue serving the Bunbury community.
No previous emergency services experience is required — all training and guidance will be provided. We welcome people from all backgrounds and aim to provide a supportive, inclusive, and family-friendly environment.Support Members assist with a range of activities that keep the brigade running smoothly, including:
Ways you may contribute
- Administration and general brigade support
- Assisting with fundraising initiatives and events
- Supporting community preparedness and public education activities
- Helping manage supplies, equipment storage, and inventory
- Assisting with social media and community engagement
- Providing welfare support for members during training or extended incidents (such as organising refreshments)
