- Support the day-to-day operations of the State Emergency Service.
- Assist with preparedness, response and recovery activities.
- Contribute to a safe, professional and effective emergency response capability.
Key Tasks
- Operational Roles
- Storm and cyclone damage operations (e.g. tarping, pumping, sandbagging).
- Land search and rescue support.
- Chainsaw and debris clearance (once trained).
- Vertical rescue and access support (once trained).
- Transport, logistics and equipment management.
- Support Roles
- Communications and radio operations.
- Administration and records support.
- Public information and social media assistance.
- Recruitment, welfare and general support duties.

Requirements
- Driver's Licence (C)
- National Police Certificate *
Minimum C Class is required.
Volunteers will undergo an online criminal history check as part of the application process.
