*Note* Due to operational requirements, you must live within 15mins of this location to volunteer with them. Coolgardie VFRS volunteers play a significant and vital role in ensuring the community and travelers are safe by undertaking both operational and non-front line functions. As an active volunteer, you will learn the necessary skills to assist with;

  • Bush Fire Response
  • Structure Fires
  • Road Crash Rescue/ Fires
  • Natural Hazard Support

Requirements

  • Driver's Licence (C)
  • National Police Certificate *

Truck license is advantageous but not essential.
We will value the skills and experience you have and your willingness to learn new skills.

    Coolgardie VFRS welcome discussions around your time availability. Training is held every Tuesday evening with DFES training courses every 2-3 months where required. The VFRS encourages to attend as many training sessions and incidents as your time allows.
