Bush Fire Brigade volunteers play a significant and vital role in helping to ensure their local communities are safe. Volunteer firefighters are trained and equipped to carry out a range of activities, including:·
- Emergency response to bush and scrub fires·
- Undertaking local fire prevention activities with the community
- Supporting other emergency service agencies as required
- Community education and engagement.
