Join our team as a Unit Caretaker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.The Unit Caretaker role will provide essential support to the operation of unit activities by assisting and supporting with the day to day running of the unit. The key responsibilities of the Unit caretaker is to coordinate and undertake the following tasks:

  • Maintain the grounds and facilities of the unit through regular upkeep.
  • Work together with unit members to ensure preparedness for emergency responses.
  • Monitor store levels and coordinate the procurement of unit stores and consumables as necessary.
  • Liaise with DFES contractors, as needed, to facilitate access to the unit premises.
  • Contribute to enhancing the overall well being of unit members through active participation and support.

Requirements

  • National Police Certificate *

National police clearance will be provided by DFES at no cost to you.

* May be arranged via the Organisation. Details to be provided on expression of interest.
