Mt Barker SES are seeking ordinary people to do extraordinary things.

Armed with the appropriate skills and support you could expect the following as a SES Team Member…. • Respond to Storm and Flood emergencies • Assist in Search and Rescue operations • Provide logistical support during bushfires • Radio Communications • Operate SES appliances and vehicles • Assist the unit in the distribution of flood resources across the region • Opportunity to work with and support other emergency service groups and agencies • Learn new and amazing skills • Work with supportive teams

Mt Barker SES is also looking for….. • Administration Officer; and
• Treasurer

Requirements

  • National Police Certificate *

Some team member roles require physical fitness and mobility.

* May be arranged via the Organisation. Details to be provided on expression of interest.

    Regular - more than 6 months

  • Time Required

    Attend induction training courses. Required to attend fortnightly training on Thursday nights (1.5hr) Ability to respond to incident when available.

    Initial and ongoing training and support will be provided.
