Vertical Rescue Team Member - SES Carnarvon

As an SES vertical rescue volunteer, you will need to commit to a high level of training, therefore we expect a long term commitment. To be part of the bigger team, there is an expectation you will also assist as a SES team member in our every-day business in assisting with storms, cyclones, floods, land search and earthquakes.


  • Driver's Licence (C)
  • National Police Certificate *

A high level of fitness.
Have an appreciation for working at heights.
High level of commitment to training and operations.

  • Time Required

    Long term is desired. Attendance to vertical rescue courses and competency training is required on an annual basis, this may include travel to other areas. (Competency assessments required.)

  • Training

    You will be required to attend regular training and emergency callouts when you can. We train every Wednesday evening 6pm - 9pm with occasional weekend courses and exercises throughout the year.
