SES Duty Officers are the first point of contact when Requests For Assistance are received by the unit. They determine and activate teams according to the nature of the incident and play a crucial role in ensuring a timely and appropriate response. Key duties include:

  • First contact for Requests For Assistance.
  • Liaise with the Communication Centre, Regional Duty Co-ordinator and members of the public
  • Compile and activate teams, monitor progress and arrange support as required.

Requirements

  • Driver's Licence (C)
  • National Police Certificate *

Computer/technology literate
Great communication
Ability to multi-task
Good organiser
