Join the volunteer rescue Boat Crew and be involved in the running and operation of our rescue craft! You will require a reasonable level of fitness and not be prone to seasickness. All training will be provided by MRG and promotion through to rescue skipper is possible. Training includes radio operation, boat handling, navigation, rope handling, towage, search and rescue and a host of other maritime skills. Once a level of competence is achieved, you will become eligible to assist in the operation of the rescue craft.

The result of this will be a rewarding and satisfying role working with like minded persons to ensure that the boating public are assisted and kept safe on the water. Apply today!

    Lancelin training in house is every third Sunday from 08:00hrs to 10:00hrs with breakfast provided at 07:45hrs, however DFES training is done as required with certification.
